Accessibility
Passport Collective wants everyone to be able to browse our charms, build a set and check out, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA. The Passport Collective website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Measures we take
- We test the site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA with automated tools and by hand with a keyboard.
- We fix the issues we find, starting with the ones that stop people from shopping.
- We check accessibility before we release changes to the site.
Parts we do not control
Some features come from other companies: checkout (Shopify) and our chat window. We choose partners who work on accessibility, but we cannot change their code ourselves. If one of them gets in your way, tell us and we will help.
